Vancouver Island Whitewater Kayaking Summer Camp for Youth

Kindred Spirit Kayak is offering an elite 5 and 10-day overnight summer camp - you don't want to miss out!

In both camps you will:

~ Learn to swim in rapids

~ Learn how to use the latest in freestyle kayaks in the river to surf, do enders, squirts, ferries, eddy turns and much more!

~ Challenge yourself by participating in mock swift water rescue scenarios

~ Inflatable kayaking down the river and snorkelling

5-DAY CAMP - July 6-10 (ages 14-18): Join us on the Cowichan River for 4 nights of camping enjoying excellent food and scenery! Max. 12

10-DAY CAMP - July 6-15 (ages 16-18): Road trip! We travel the island looking for good surf and fun rivers using the skills we have learned on the Cowichan River! This is an extension of our 5-day camp. Max. 8

Small groups ensure individual attention and max river time!

We have designed this exclusive program to enhance leadership skills, empowerment, confidence and self-awareness. Vancouver Island offers adventure- come and explore!

Campers recieve Kindred Spirit Kayak certificates for kayaking and rescue, along with a photo/ video CD to take home and share memories.
